The GastiR Shield by Epic Armoury is a product of a partnership with Lejre Land of Legends, a Danish organisation focusing on historical and archaeological research and communication. This shield has been improved to offer increased authenticity compared to Epic Armoury's previous Viking-inspired shields. Based on historical evidence, the shield boss has been made smaller to fit non-armoured hands better, and the front of the shield resembles a leather cover. The shield comes in four unique patterns inspired by the Oseberg Tapestry. While authenticity cannot be fully guaranteed, the GastiR Shield is the best effort so far to replicate the design and purpose of these ancient shields. Get ready to fight for your clan and king!
